Internet marketing (online marketing) is the service offered by Web Design and Online marketing companies to increase your websites link in Search Engines(Google) results .

For example if you have a business that sells toys, you would like your websites link to be on top of the list when users search for the keyword “kids toys”.
This is a very effective form of marketing as many of the search engines referred visitors will be interested in your product and will buy it.

Compared to other forms of marketing both online (banner adverts, buying links, email marketing) and offline (flyers, magazine adverts, etc.), internet marketing is still the cheapest form of marketing. This is based on the effectiveness of the marketing, the ROI. ROI stands for “Return on investment”.

Another great thing about online marketing is that its results are almost always permanent. In most cases the rankings will increase over time once the marketing has been completed.
