Google brings Google Sites. Very similar to blogs, but yet very different, Google sites allows you to give control to who can and cannot edit the contents of your site, much like MS Share-point. Its the quickest way to have a website, it needs no installation and is perfect for small business to have a small website or starting point. All you need to jump start this fantastic program is a Google Account. If you have a Gmail account, that’s perfect.

Am I the only one that finds Google Sites completely useless from a design perspective? It’s such a closed system, with respect to design, that I couldn’t see my company or other professionals using it as their web presence. GOOGLE ADD “REAL” CUSTOMIZABLE CONTROL TO THE TEMPLATE SYSTEM!
