I have my articles come up on my Facebook page and I submit them to Digg.com. I have been wondering about article ezines, do you have to create a new article specifically for them, a unique article, or can it be something you have already published on your website?

Not really sure on that...because I haven't tried it yet..why not create a new original one?

It is always better to submit your unique articles. Yet, it is usual for internet marketers to submit the same articles to several article directories. Just avoid to submit articles which are published on your website, it will hurt your website rank.

I guess so. Blog posts are also website content, right? Google does allow duplicate content as long as it is reasonable. Just use your own judgment about what is considered "reasonable" and what is not.

I know almost all kinds of linking. But what do you mean by submitting our articles to directories? What directories and what will it do with the articles we submit to it?

In my point of view forum posting,social bookmarking,blog commenting,video submission,directory submission ,etc are the best way to increase the traffic on website...!
