Google provide two methods of verification: using meta tag and uploading an HTML file in your server. Using Blogger, choose the meta tag method. In the webmaster central, there should be a "verify this site" button beside your unverified blog URL. Click that, choose meta tag methods, and copy the codes that will look like this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="blablabla" />

Paste the code in the HTML code of your blog between the <head>  and </head> tags.

What? I thought Google do not use meta tags anymore, do they?
