Thought i would start this post and ask moderators to make it a sticky.

What has Google Adsense done for you.

I personally have a wedding directory, and average 5 dollars a day.. Its a fairly new system, and hope to increase the Google Adsense revenue soon.

Please feel free to tell us you experiences with Google adsense..

No this is no prank , this is shoemoney, one of the highest earners i've seen.

more details
http://www.shoemoney.com/gallery/v/misc/adsensecheck.jpg.html

This is what he says in short
Quote
This was the biggest paper check I have ever received. It was way back in August of 2005. 100% of this income was earned with organic seo. I had not heard of search engine arbitrage at the time and did not buy traffic from MSN Yahoo or Google itself. I did that about 1.5 years later Wink

Remember Google adsense is not something that grows over night, one needs a good concept, hard marketing work and a functional well thought out website. Then you need to push it to the top, with hard work. Then only after good few years the money will really start coming in.

Google adsese takes time

Hitting the 5 dollar mark aswell, being a tough road with Google adsense, 2 months ago i got my first Cheque, $1400 , from 2 sites, Lets hope this new year picks up.

I make use of ads that really stick out, They say this really helps. For a matter of interest, Can somebody explain the CPM and CTR to me.

Also, if you guys have any cool tips, please share. Wink

Hi there

Moved up to 3 dollars aswell, and hope to have it double with my new design. I think the markets in SA are slower than the rest of the world. But at 10rand to the dollar, i am happy.

Please share you experiences with us novice users. I find that adsense in content works well for me.

Thanks

Adsense for me ?Sad( unfortunately all i won now from adsense is ... pathethic and funny number of .. 20 CENTS! , i currently own 1 blog where i have my ads and 3 more where i spreaded my ads ( friends blog ) + 1 bigger site for entertainment , whatsoever they are all dedicated to Romanian audience... and they don't really click ads , many of them don't even understand what says on the ads ,although language targeting is used from time to time still dosen't really matter, but it's ok , i haven't made the sites to win money from adsense ^^

Never give up!

This is a really great thread, glad it was a sticky. Anyhow, I don't have a site yet and I'm still looking for a good free domain hosting company to start out my forum or perhaps a blog, I'm still thinking which of the two I should create. And reading how you're all doing here really makes me excited, it really inspired me specially that guy in that photo. Whoo!

Nice motivation, I think adsense really is doing something for you in the long run. We better work on that too.

You know what niche would really be great for your blog or site? Cheesy Take it like this, everyone wants to make money right so they always asks around in the internet for niche that could help then get rich quick. So... Why not make your niche "How to make money in the internet." And if its good, I'm sure a lot of searches will lead in to you.
