CoolText? I never hear about the software. Thanks for sharing the info. I usually make my website/blog header using The Logo Creator. It's really cool and produce fancy headers, yet very easy to use.
2  Web Design Forums / Graphic Design / Re: Anyone Hire a Graphics Designer to Help Out on: December 10, 2009, 01:21:02 PM
Well, I never really need advanced graphic design on my website to the point that I have to hire a pros. I would rather do it myself.
3  Search Engines, Marketing, and Business / Website Search Engine Optimization and Google / Re: traffic on: December 10, 2009, 01:02:59 PM

Does it include blog posts as well? Would it hurt my blog ranking?

I guess so. Blog posts are also website content, right? Google does allow duplicate content as long as it is reasonable. Just use your own judgment about what is considered "reasonable" and what is not.
4  Search Engines, Marketing, and Business / Website Search Engine Optimization and Google / Re: verifications not working? on: December 10, 2009, 12:51:28 PM
Google provide two methods of verification: using meta tag and uploading an HTML file in your server. Using Blogger, choose the meta tag method. In the webmaster central, there should be a "verify this site" button beside your unverified blog URL. Click that, choose meta tag methods, and copy the codes that will look like this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="blablabla" />

Paste the code in the HTML code of your blog between the <head>  and </head> tags.

I thought that you cannot use Wordpress plugins for Adsense. I am referring to the free Wordpress!

Many Wordpress plugins for Adsense are available to download for free. A Wordpress plugin is a plugin and has nothing  to do with Wordpress the free blog hosting. You can used it on your own site run in Wordpress platform.

No, you won't get problems with Blogger. Using Blogger, you are free to put ads and other commercial content like paid review, affiliate links etc. You are even encouraged to place Adsense ads on your blog.
7  Web Design Forums / Joomla, Blogs, Wordpress and other CMS systems / Re: How do I place ads on blogger? on: December 10, 2009, 10:38:26 AM
Placing ads or third party's banners on Blogger is easy, and no need to know HTML codes. You just click the "add new gadgets", then you will choose an option, something like "add third party's code". Paste the banner code from the advertiser there, click save and you are done.

That's fantastic. Thanks for sharing it. Currently I am using free ready made hit/stat counter named Histats. It is a good stat counter which provide you data of many parameters.

Amazon works differently than the mentioned here. They will pay you commission if someone purchasing their products through your links. You won't get paid when your visitors click their ads. You can include Bidvertiser in the list.

11  General / Showcase / Re: new site - nearly finished - any CONSTRUCTIVE critisism on: November 27, 2009, 01:11:56 PM
I agree with the others. It is really nice, clean and professionally designed. I am not fond of flashy content, but somehow I like your header. It loads fast also. Congratulation.
12  Search Engines, Marketing, and Business / Website Affiliates and Advertising Ideas / Re: Auto Blogging on: November 27, 2009, 01:05:18 PM
I won't keep myself from auto blogging. It severely hurts Google and other search engines' results. I am sure those search engines are very aware of auto blogs now and will keep the blogs from being indexed.
13  Search Engines, Marketing, and Business / Website Affiliates and Advertising Ideas / Re: Google Adsense, what has it done for you? on: November 27, 2009, 01:00:56 PM
Sorry to hear about that. Google Adsense has really strict rules to protect their advertisers and their reputation as well. I haven't get decent earning from Adsense yet, but I know your earning with Adsense is potentially unlimited.
